TO ALL OUR VISITORS: We are happy that you have come to worship with us. Please come again!
ALL SAINTS PARISH ACW: Will celebrate its 34th anniversary today at 6:30 p.m. under the theme: “Anointed and Commissioned to Serve”.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMME: Parents and guardians interested in having their children participate in the programme are asked to complete the attached application form and return to Dr. Celestine Williams or the parish office. Classes begin tomorrow, 1st March, from 4:15 – 7:00 p.m.
BAIN AND GRANT’S TOWN ADVANCEMENT ASSOCIATION: Will be conducting a Consumer financial Seminar for the residents of Bain and Grant’s Town, on Monday, 22nd February, and Tuesday, 23rd February, at St. Agnes schoolroom. The scheduled time is 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., and registration is $1.00 per person. For additional information, contact the Association at 3287-8984.
ACW News: The general monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, 2nd march, at 6:00 p.m. in the parish hall.
Corporate worship will take place on Sunday, 7th March, at 7:00 a.m.
St. George’s ACW will be celebrating their 46th anniversary service on Sunday, 7th March, at 6:00 p.m.
Holy Cross ACW will celebrate their anniversary with a service on Thursday, 11th March at 7:00 p.m.
PASTORAL CARE & COUNSELLING MINISTRY: Will hold a meeting on Tuesday, 2nd March, at 6:00 p.m. in the parish hall. All interested members are requested to be present.
The Annual Recognition Service is held on Low Sunday for parishioners who attain the age of seventy (70) years by Low Sunday of the current year. The Recognition service this year will be held on Sunday, 11th April, at which time all registered parishioners with birthdays between 10th April, 1939 and 11th April 1940, will be honoured.
LECTURE SERIES: On Spirituality and Worship continues on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. until 10th March. Sessions will be conducted by Archbishop Gomez.
ST. JOHN’S NATIVE BAPTIST CATHEDRAL: Invites all parishioners to its 175th dedication anniversary celebration beginning on Monday, 1st March through Friday, 5th March at 7:30 p.m. nightly. St. Agnes is responsible for conducting the Ecumenical Service on Tuesday, 2nd March, and parishioners are encouraged to support. The theme for the occasion is: “O Come let us Worship.” Psalm 95:6.
ACM NEWS: Due to the Lecture Series being conducted by Archbishop Gomez this Wednesday, 3rd March, the regular meeting will be held n Thursday, 4th march, at 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall.
Corporate worship will be held on Sunday, 7th March, at 7:00 a.m.
The Annual Diocesan ACM Conference will be held in North Andros from Wednesday, 17th March, through, Sunday, 21st march under the theme: “Anointed and Commissioned to Service”. All men of the Parish are invited to participate. Registration forms may be collected from ACM members or the parish office and must be turned in with fees no later than Thursday, 4th March.
YOUTH NEWS: The Youth Council will meet on Thursday, 4th March, at 5:45 p.m. in the parish hall.
Basketball practice will begin on Saturday, 6th March, at 9:30 a.m. on the Southern Recreation Grounds.
Congratulations to St. Agnes under 18 women’s softball team and head coach, Michelle Wilson, 2010 champions of the Diocesan softball tournament. Congratulations are also extended to St. Agnes over 18 women’s team, semi-finalists, and all other participants.
The Diocesan Youth Department (DYD): Will be hosting a series of sporting events this year including a basketball tournament, which will include a slam dunk contest and a 3 on 3 tournament in April, swim meet in May, track meet in October, and volleyball tournament in November. MINISTRY OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WELLNESS: A presentation will be made on “Breast Cancer Awareness and Follow Through” on Saturday, 6th March at 10:30 a.m. in the parish hall.

RED CROSS FAIR: All are invited to attend annual Red Cross Fair, to be held this coming Saturday, 6th March, at the lower grounds of Government House, beginning at 12:30 p.m.
WEST CENTRAL ARCHDEACONRY: Pulpit exchange will take place on Sunday, 21st March.
LENT: Be mindful of the additional services during lent: Stations of the Cross at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and 7:00 p.m. on Fridays.
Please remember to take your Lenten sacrificial envelopes. We have pledged to give $10 per week or a one-time gift of $75 for the Lenten discipline.
Please take a copy of the Lenten Devotional booklet provided to assist each of us in this Lenten pilgrimage.
The Lenten walkathon will be held on Saturday, 27th March, beginning from the Church to Goodman’s Bay. Sponsor sheets will be made available soon!
