SPECIAL WELCOME: To the family and friends of Mrs. Marguerite Jackson, worshipping with her at our 7:00 a.m. Mass on the occasion of her 75^th birthday.

Also the management and staff of The Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas (ZNS), worshipping with us at our 1030 a.m. service in celebration of their 7^th annual “Bridging the Gap through Love & Unity” activities.

ELECTIONS:   Will be held today after the all services to fill four (4) seats on the Vestry.  Nominees are:  Mrs. Octavia Johnson, Dr. Pandora Johnson, Mr. Andrew Flowers, Mr. Kevin Hanna, Mr. Anthony Johnson, Mrs. Patrice McDonald, and Mr. Franklyn Bosfield.  Voters MUST be registered members of the Parish.

JUNIOR USHER BOARD: Will hold a cake sale today after both masses.  Proceeds will assist in defraying the cost of uniforms.

PASTORAL CARE & COUNSELLING MINISTRY:  The Pastoral Care & Counselling Ministry will hold its annual Pre-marital and Marriage Enrichment Seminar consisting of four (4) weekly sessio0ns on topics covering:

• The Physical and Psychological Aspects of marriage
• The Spiritual Aspects of Marriage
• The Financial Aspects of Marriage
• The Legal Aspects of Marriage

The sessions will continue tomorrow, 8^th February, 15^th and 22^nd February, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., in the parish hall.  The giving and discussion of information will be beneficial to those persons contemplating marriage, those recently married, and those whose marriage has been enriched over the years.  ALL parishioners are invited to attend!

The Family Life Seminar is being held on Saturday, 20^th February, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the parish hall.  Please plan to attend.

St. Agnes is hosting the Diocesan Pastoral Care & Counselling Ministry Lenten Retreat, which will be held on Saturday, 27^th February, for all members in the parish hall from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The Annual Recognition Service is held on Low Sunday for parishioners who attain the age of seventy (70) years by Low Sunday of the current year.  The Recognition Service this year will be held on 11^th April at which time all registered parishioners with birthdays between 20^th April 1939, and 11^th April 1940, will be honoured.  Any registered parishioner age seventy (70) years who was inadvertently not recognized previously is asked to contact the Church office and provide the relevant information by 8^th February.

YOUTH NEWS:  There will be a Youth Council meeting on Thursday, 11^th February, at 6:00 p.m.

There will be a meeting of all House Leaders on Thursday, 11^th February at, 7:00 p.m.

ACM & ACW NEWS:  The ACM’s 38^th and the ACW’s 46^th anniversary service and installation of officers will be held at the church on Friday, 12^th February, 7:00 a.m., under the theme: “Ordering Our Steps in God’s word.”  Proverbs 3:6.  Results from the re-election are as follows:

St. Anne’s Anglican Church ACW will celebrate its 30^th anniversary with worship and fellowship on Sunday, 14^th February, at 3:30 p.m. at the Church on Fox Hill Road.

ST. JOHN’S COLLEGE:  Will hold its Mardi Gras on Saturday, 13^th February, at the school grounds from 12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m.
