Youth News - 28th February 2010

YOUTH NEWS:  The Youth Council will meet on Thursday, 4^th March, at 5:45 p.m. in the parish hall.

Basketball practice will begin on Saturday, 6^th March, at 9:30 a.m. on the Southern Recreation Grounds.

Congratulations to St. Agnes under 18 women’s softball team and head coach, Michelle Wilson, 2010 champions of the Diocesan softball tournament.  Congratulations are also extended to St. Agnes over 18 women’s team, semi-finalists, and all other participants.

The Diocesan Youth Department (DYD): Will be hosting a series of sporting events this year including a basketball tournament, which will include a slam dunk contest and a 3 on 3 tournament in April, swim meet in May, track meet in October, and volleyball tournament in November.  Persons interested in working on any of the committees can contact the Youth department at 322-3015 ext. 2028 of 2019.  Email:  diocesanyouthoffice@yahoo.com or assistantyouthdirector@yahoo.com.
