Pre-marital and Marriage Enrichment Seminar / Diocesan Lentan Retreat / Annual Recognition Service

PASTORAL CARE & COUNSELLING MINISTRY:  The Pastoral Care & Counselling Ministry will hold its annual Pre-marital and Marriage Enrichment Seminar consisting of four (4) weekly sessio0ns on topics covering:

 

  • The Physical and Psychological Aspects of marriage
  • The Spiritual Aspects of Marriage
  • The Financial Aspects of Marriage
  • The Legal Aspects of Marriage

The sessions will continue tomorrow, 8th February, 15th and 22nd February, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., in the parish hall.  The giving and discussion of information will be beneficial to those persons contemplating marriage, those recently married, and those whose marriage has been enriched over the years.  ALL parishioners are invited to attend!

 

The Family Life Seminar is being held on Saturday, 20th February, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the parish hall.  Please plan to attend.

 

St. Agnes is hosting the Diocesan Pastoral Care & Counselling Ministry Lenten Retreat, which will be held on Saturday, 27th February, for all members in the parish hall from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

 

The Annual Recognition Service is held on Low Sunday for parishioners who attain the age of seventy (70) years by Low Sunday of the current year.  The Recognition Service this year will be held on 11th April at which time all registered parishioners with birthdays between 20th April 1939, and 11th April 1940, will be honoured.  Any registered parishioner age seventy (70) years who was inadvertently not recognized previously is asked to contact the Church office and provide the relevant information by 8th February.
